The details

Join us January 24th in the Gathering Hall for a community event that blends digital life with real community connections.

Whether you’re gaming, scrolling, or just hanging out, this is a space to be yourself while sharing moments with others. Enjoy food prepared and served by our Elders who are eager to learn about what you’re doing with your thumbs all day and share their own stories.

Together, we’ll quietly celebrate how electronic connections are part of the bonds that make a community.

What to bring:
Your phone or portable electronic device. Additionally, other gaming systems and digital devices will be provided, so there’s plenty to do and share!

Who should join:
Primarily teens, but open to absolutely everyone who enjoys digital communities, wants to learn more about them, or just wants to hang out on their phone surrounded by friends.

When + Where:
Friday, January 24, 2025, in the Gathering Hall from 6:00 to 9:00.

Now there is no one who could catch up with us.

There is something you can do.
Strong community connections are key to addressing this crisis. When neighbors and local groups unite, they create a support network that can identify and help those at risk. Small acts—checking in, sharing resources, offering support—make a real difference. These connections don’t just help in emergencies; they build resilience and prevent addiction from taking root.
